More seriously - Community cafe and information point, customer loos, extended parking, connecting bus services, better foot and cycle access. Come along to the Melksham Rail User Group on 4th July at the Town Hall at 19:30, where Paul will be going through all the various options and opportunities.

I have seen reports which suggested the platform extension at Melksham might be available for use from tomorrow. Having seen it this afternoon it is not quite complete. Suspect it might also need something more substantial at the far end to protect the two foot drop.

What length is it being extended to?
3 car, 23 metre carriage train. I've seen a figure - I believe 70 metres / may have been 75?
