I don't know where there's a full list - but I click on links to them on particular fares on brfares.com

e.g.

link to CDR^▸ (Off Peak Day Return [ticket type] (formerly 'Cheap Day')) and you get
(Melksham (Station code) - next trains)&dest=NWP&tkt=cdr" target="_blank">http://www.brfares.com/#faredetail?orig=MKM&dest=NWP&tkt=CDR
which is the text about W1 restriction code.

If you have a ticket already, rather than try for a link somewhere direct to the code, put in the start / end stations and follow the link as above
