Was travelling on a Reading Buses service yesterday and two stops away from the railway station the on-board display changed to show two pages of upcoming departures from Reading.

Not seen this before - any other areas have it?

Never noticed it when doing the daily inspections before taking a bus out either (& it doesn't appear on the BCR (Benefit Cost Ratio) card either)........

Available on the 314  route Amsterdam to Hoorn for NS departures from Hoorn. Although it didn't show the Steam Tram preserved line which is well worth visitng if you are in Amsterstam. Train to Hoorn every half hour.

We were staying half way to Hoorn with no rail station hence bus.

Also stop on way which read Middle N237! It was litererly half way along a dead straight and flat  bit of road at a cross roads and a couple of buildings.

We are slowly getting digital displays at the bus stops telling us how many minutes till the next stop (currently only seen on the 14/18 routes). We might get something like this by maybe 2050!

Not all busses have transponders fitted for the 14/18! Especially as busses are frequently route interchanged.

Those screens were particularly useful when first installed, they just displayed Bus Station as the destination for most buses, without any indication of which Bus Station it was referring too.

I saw this and did make me chuckle, tried photographing it, but the picture didnt come out, although it was easily worked out for anyone knowing the route and location.
