William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

Their xweeter team said they'd be launching that on Monday 28th May.....several things wrong with that., which were duly pointed out & clarification requested - I haven't seen one to date....

What the press release doesn't mention is the price increase. Three courses up over 10% from £39.50 to £44.

And I thought inflation was only 2.3% now. Wink

That said, I do plan to dine on the Pullman in the coming weeks, provided I can find a dog sitter for Finn. GWR (Great Western Railway) have relaxed their rules for dogs on the Night Riviera but they remain barred from the Pullman.


(Yes, he should be on the floor but he was up and laid out before I'd even got my shoes off!)

Dogs have a heightened sense of smell.  If your shoes were on the floor he probably knew what was coming and got some distance.

I presume its IET (Intercity Express Train - replacement for HSTs (manufactured by Hitachi in Kobe, Japan)) sets are to be used,would/is there be enough space in the catering area?
