From
my London'I went to the 'worst' railway station in the country just outside London and it's difficult just getting in'
I went to the only station to get the lowest possible rating on Google, just five miles outside the capital
After visiting the highest and lowest-rated stations in London according to the reviewers on ever prolific Google Maps and Reviews, you won't be entirely surprised to read that I decided to go in search of the worst-rated station in the entire country.
You will be surprised that it's a rather quaint, low-profile station in a village just five and a half miles beyond the Greater London boundary. It has a decent train service of four trains per hour into Central London and trains run right through until 1am, meaning you're unlikely to ever get stuck there.
I visited a number of local stations in my own area via Google having read the article, and I rather suspect that the rating comes more from how much people cherish and appreciate their station than the facilities or level of service
