Does seem odd that in that article FGW▸ appears to be doing the "sackcloth and ashes" for what looks like SWT▸ 's mistake. Would have thought that more people are likely to use XC▸ than FGW for BSK▸ -RDG‡ journeys anyway given the faster journey time and greater frequency...

AIUI▸ all the fares systems use the same original database to load up their machines, so everyone's version of Basingstoke - Reading should be identical, whether bought from a
TVM▸ or a ticket office?
I wouldn't expect someone in an SWT back office somewhere is loading FGW fares one by one and making a typo, surely it's more automated than that?
