Shot in the dark but are any of them Venezia Mestre? The one with the sleeper train in particular looks vaguely familiar, although I've only been there once and it was at some god-awful hour in the morning!

They're definitely in Italy - the FS logos and the look of the train equipment give that away. But how close are we talking? I could just reel off a list of the stations in Italy where I've joined/alighted from/changed trains but that wouldn't be very sporting!! Wink

By the way, from the fourth pic looks like they have started replacing the Solari boards which were almost universal at Italian stations, which is a bit sad.

In terms of your first post, very close. And your 'They're definitely in Italy' statement might need the word 'mostly' inserted.

Picture B: Yes indeed, Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia - I thought that the presence of the VSOE (Venice Simplon Orient Express) stock was a bit of a clue.
