"World Carfree Day is held on or around 22 September every year ..."

http://www.worldcarfree.net/

Not a bad publicity idea ...

not a bad idea, but i need to start work at either 530am, with the first train getting me to work for 805am at the earliest, buses later. Or the other shift i may have finishes at 1am, last train is at 11pm, or last bus 1005pm.
so therefore wont be a car free day for me!

I'm fairly sure that http://www.worldcarfree.net/ is a safe domain but my anti virus software flags it up as a potential threat....

If it turns out to be on the 22nd.. I need to get from Maidenhead to Bracknell that day.. which is about 10 miles.. which is 30 minutes by car.. but 2 1/2 hours by train/bus (quicker by taxi but I don't think that counts as it's a car).. no car free day for me I'm afraid...

I have a long journey to make with lots of luggage including a large television on the 22nd, so don't think i'll be able to take that on the train. Shame  Wink
