Next Sunday, 28th August ... last of the TransWilts extra services.  07:30 from Westbury to Swindon, and 08:20 Swindon to Weymouth. All welcome and some silly-cheap fares available!

Yesterday ... great day out.  82 passengers on the 07:30 by the time it arrived into Swindon, and 253 on the Weymouth train when it reached Westbury. Stock was 2 x 150/2 - so that's about 300 seats, right?  Great to meet TrowRes on the 07:30 and RogerW with us morning and evening return too - and thanks, Roger, for all your help.   We had quite a crowd!

No seat reservations, no buffet, no steam engine (at least on this service, though you may see one during the day in Weymouth), but a great day out with a through train along the old Wilts, Somerset and Weymouth railway - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilts,_Somerset_and_Weymouth_Railway
