I know this is totally Random but anyone Know on what date Brent Knoll station saw it's last Passenger Trains?

It was between Weston-Super-Mare and Highbridge and in my 1970 Western Timetable seemed to have a Parly sevrice.

What a nostalic report!

I used to live at Bridgwater and remember the old stopper service that called at Dunball, Highbridge, Brent Knoll, Uphill and several other minor halts bewteen Bridgwater and Weston - 2/4p CDR (Off Peak Day Return [ticket type] (formerly 'Cheap Day'))!, 4 shillings to Bristol and back taking around an hour or more!

Just out of curiousity, what services at what times called at Brent Knoll in the 1970 timetable, smokey?

Thanks, Smokey ... so that was a commutable day to Bristol ... arrive there at 08:32 and leave at 17:55.   That compares very favourably in terms of usability for a normal working day when compared with the current (also near to "parly level") direct Westbury / Trowbridge to Swindon service that's designed to be a commuter train ... arrive there at 07:48 and leave at 18:44.
