Just been trawling through some videos from my favourite band 'Queen' and this one recorded on the Nene Valley Railway got to me thinking what other recording artists have used UK (United Kingdom) rail locations for video shoots:

Queen, trains and Debbie Leng. What more could a bloke want?

So.... as to other music videos filmed on the UK (public and private) railway network....

Over to the forum.....

Parts of the video for Ellie Goulding's cover of Elton John's Your Song was filmed on a FGW (First Great Western) train.  Apparently travelling to/from her home town of Hereford.

I'm not sure I like people WHOEVER they are being filmed playing, walking, or what ever on Railway Lines.

What sort of message does that put over to the Youngsters?

However Freddie Mercury, very hard to believe He's been gone 20 years this November.

Nice spot. I've watched the 'Breakthru' video too many times to count over the years. Never spotted that camera crew accidentally in shot before. And they were rail side as well, with none wearing a hi-vis jacket!  Shocked Roll Eyes Tongue Wink Grin

That would've been for a British Rail advert. Don't think it was used in a music video.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

This be what you are on about

As a Point the class 37 was painted in a water removable paint, that didn't wash off as designed. Hence the 37 worked on the network in Police colours for a few weeks.
