Yes they will. All based on the current Advance fares structure, so more than one level per journey.
A word of warning.
They will *only* be made available to those with Olympic tickets to begin with. The normal 12 weeks in advance will apply to everyone else - and by then there may be none left as they are all quota controlled.
So - will be booked through an Olympic website until week -12.....who'll be first to report the URL address of this new site?!!

I now notice that the link, http://www.nationalrailgamestravel.co.uk/ is no longer in the text of the article posted by woody and attempting to access it brings up a 'problem loading page' error. Maybe the page is offline while they build the website or a different URL will be used by ATOC» .....

I would expect Olympic tickets to have an allocated "discount code" to be used when booking rail tickets to prevent Joe Public booking them

I think there'll be a pass code that'll be sent out with the Olympic tickets.
No code, no rail tickets!

The easiest thing to do would possibly be to re-use whatever login details succesful applicants for Olympic tickets have already set up?
Not having applied myself I don't know any details, but presumably applicants had to set up some sort of '2012' account already?

So, will those who have got 'row Z' tickets for the synchronised swimming on day one of the Olympics be able to get cheap rail tickets to Stratford regardless?

Looks as though this has just gone live. Seems to allow you to check fares and then throws a 404 error when trying to buy....

Well, throwing a 404 could be quite remarkable, depending on the context: see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javelin_throw
