Let's just say that those examples of Sprite/Swift/Alpine caravans are highly unlikely to be seen clogging up the A30 later this summer!

Some youtube clips of the Top Gear filming (WARNING: Here be spoilers!):

TG are not giving much away in the online trailer for this weekend's episode, but right near the end of this trailer there's a clip of The Hamster providing a trolley service:

http://transmission.blogs.topgear.com/2011/07/15/jeremy-and-andy-wilman-discuss-sundays-new-show/

 Grin

Oh, and a word of warning. Some blokes in funny clothing are busy ruining a good walk around the Kent coast at the moment. At a place called Royal St George's Butty I believe. An event that the BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) are covering live. This event involves hitting tiny balls with sticks and has a competitive element involving holes in a nice lawn. With a counting system that includes ornithological and nasal excreta references and somebody called Aliss who says "Oooo" a lot.

The reason I point this out is because a similar event two years ago caused Top Gear's broadcast to be delayed. That despite this event being broadcast on BBC1 through most of the afternoon and early evening. The BBC decided to move the over-running event to BBC2 rather than delay the Antiques Roadshow. Can't upset Major and Mrs Tuffington-Smythe of Tunbridge Wells, who absolutely must see a Jacobean piss-pot bought for ^100 be valued at ^70 on the main channel exactly when the telly schedule in their copy of the Sunday Telegraph said it would be.

may not effect it on iplayer, has anyone else noticed that the producers of top gear have started to place a still shot mid way threw the show...for use as a screen still on the video (i trick normally used by amateurs on youtube!)

It depends I think, often things are instant, often they can take forever.

Well, the moment I saw a chip pan in the buffet caravan I knew what the outcome would be. But the 'Peak' totaling the 'Scum Class' caravan genuinely surprised me. (I hope the passenger in 'Scum Class' had finished his ablutions and disembarked!) In fact I jumped when watching it - didn't expect it!

Also good to see that whilst a nuclear flask will write off a 'Peak', a caravan is but a mere trifle when a Sulzer Type 4 barrels into it!

Top marks to the editor of 'Rail Express' and the 'other bloke' for putting their life in the hands of Jezza and the TGV12!!!
