From FGW (First Great Western) Live Updates:

Quote
Friday 8 April 2011 12:50
Train services are being disrupted due to a person being struck by a train in the Bathampton Junction area. As a result First Great Western services between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads are being diverted via an alternative route and will not call at Chippenham or Bath Spa in both directions.

A shuttle train service will operate between Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa in both directions calling at Keynsham and Oldfield Park.

Customers travelling to and from Bath Spa should travel via Bristol Temple Meads on the shuttle train service.

First Great Western services between Bath Spa and Westbury are currently suspended.

Replacement road transport is being arranged to operate between Bath Spa & Westbury in both directions and between Bath Spa, Chippenham & Swindon in both directions.

Extended journey times of up to 60 minutes can be expected.

Top marks to FGW (First Great Western) control for arranging the ticket acceptance this quickly.  I certainly couldn't imagine SN or XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) arranging something like this so quickly.
