I see FGW▸ are running two additional trains for the stragglers from the Royal Wedding to get home. They are listed on the Engineering Alterations page for the 30th April to 6th May - so I assume where it says Saturday it really does mean early Saturday morning and not, like TV schedules, last thing on Saturday night. FGW Website
Saturday - The following additional service will operate: 0030 London Paddington to Exeter St Davids setting down customers at Reading, Swindon,
Chippenham, Bath Spa, Bristol Temple Meads, and Taunton.
Saturday - The following additional service will operate: 0100 London Paddington to Cardiff Central setting down customers at Reading, Didcot
Parkway, Swindon, Bath Spa, Bristol Temple Meads and Newport.
As the line through Castle Cary is closed that night I assume the Exeter service will overtake the down sleeper at some point. |

I was wondering that - but the sleeper usually trundles around at a leisurely 75mph doesnt it? I thought it might catch it up before then unless the additional is also going to be run slow.

Both these additional services are now in booking engines with Advance Purchase tickets available.
As to the timing of the Exeter bound service, it appears that it will overtake the Sleeper at Taunton as the Sleeper is scheduled to to arrive Taunton 0235 and depart 0323 that morning. The additional train is due into Taunton at 0247.

are people actually travelling for the wedding. FGW▸ statment in a local paper down here says that so far they have no more ticket sales for the date than a normal Friday

Indeed - from the BBC» : Cornish coach firm Williams cancels royal wedding trip
A Cornwall coach tour operator has been forced to cancel a trip to London for the royal wedding blaming a lack of interest.
Williams Travel from Camborne said European travellers seem more enthusiastic about the wedding.
Independent tour operator Newmarket Holidays said it had not received any bookings from Cornwall for its transport to London for the occasion.
Train company First Great Western revealed there has not been any increase in numbers booked on the Penzance to Paddington line.
Paula Hoskin, tours manager at Williams Travel, said: "We had the break on sale for some time but we had to cancel it because we only had eight passengers booked. "Despite lots of advertising it didn't take off. We were surprised. We wanted to part of an event like this."
Cornwall Council has revealed that it has only 31 applications for street party licences.
In 2002 St Mawes on the Roseland was awash with flags, bunting and street parties for the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Residents even made a gold coach for a re-enactment of the coronation.
So far there have been no applications for a street party from St Mawes.
Joe Little, managing editor for Majesty Magazine, said: "I think in Britain we're slow to react to such things. Come 29 April there will be all sorts of activities going on so I wouldn't be unduly concerned at this moment in time."
Mr Little said he expected street parties would reappear for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. "You could argue the wedding next month is a warm up for that," he said.

Not me nor me, these are projected to be our 3rd busiest week of the year behind the christmas new year fortnight according to our head office, so no chance of a 3day week |

I'll gladly work the day of the wedding as well - so any job offers are most welcome. Anything to get away from what will, no doubt, be wall-to-wall coverage.

Funny thing is I don't think there's going to be much escape from it in the USA either - in fact I was watching MSNBC news earlier in the week and it seems like proportionally (and in absolute terms as well) there are far more Americans excited about the wedding than there are Britons...
But I don't get the day off...
