ok just want to explain my reasons, on number 1 .... pure guess as i was looking back threw an old topic on the brunelian rail tour, as for number 3 ..... L.H Arlett & Son Unit 36, Hercules Way, Bowerhill, Melksham, Wiltshire SN12 6TS, so it was worth a punt with melksham lol

Yes indeed - No. 3 is Station Road, Holt. That was a tough 'un too. Holt was the junction where the line from Trowbridge to Chippenham (still part of the TransWilts) diverged from the line to Devizes and Patney and Chirton. The station was named "Holt", but was well outside the village down the sleepy road shown in this picture. The station site is now private. I expect Arlett's have a branch / office in Melksham

I must admit that I needed to do quite a bit of Googling/cheating to find this so my method worked but as melk was the first result i automatically gave up You two are quite shocking!

hey when people answer questions they retrieve the information from a part of the brain.... mine doesn't work that well so i substitute my brain with google, with often quite p**s poor results to be fair ...............
