Exeter St. Davids Improved Lighting

Can't find this mentioned elsewhere.

The old wooden warehouses adjacent to EXD^» Platform 6 have been gone for around (I think!) 3-4 weeks, and a silver-grey metal fence has been installed.

Although the fencing isn't absolutely ideal I do think it it better than what preceeded it.

Do you mean to say that that old cooker has gone? Was quite fond of him!

I understand that the cooker in your pic was in fact from the FGW^▸ drivers top link rest room. There is talk that a preservation bid has now been launched to save this 1950's
item for a Heritage railway in the South West!
