I did read the thread before posting thanks Chris (so don't be so cocky, it's only polite). I can only post what I experienced. One minute East Coast were sending me tickets without charging the next minute they were charging. How is one to know which journeys on East coast are print at home and which one's aren't?

Journeys on East Coast are print-at-home (as are CrossCountry trips from their website), other TOCs▸ (Train Operating Company) services aren't.
