Is there a reason they've got the double arrow back-to-front (DfT» (Department for Transport - about) owning the rights to the logo possibly) or did they just mess up? The only time it was ever that way round was on one side of the funnels on Sealink ships so that the arrow was notionally pointing forwards on both sides of the vessel. The correct way round is easy to envisage if you remember that it's supposed to represent a double track railway with the direction of travel indicated, and trains in the UK▸ (United Kingdom) generally stick to the left, just like cars.

Thanks for your comment.
The logo is back-to-front on purpose! The idea is that it looks just like the old British Rail, but at the same time looks totally different. We wanted to hint at the idea of looking back in order to move forward (which we hope a new improved, integrated rail network would do), but also at the idea that a new British Rail has be different, better and more forward thinking than its previous, failed incarnation was. We hope the logo alludes both a sense of nostalgia about the past, but also an innovative approach to tackling our future public transport needs in the UK▸ (United Kingdom).

Ah yes the good old arrow of indecision. I think the actual owner of the arrow was the SRA» (Strategic Rail Authority - about).

The current one (national rail) is owned by:

I'm not sure that "Bring Back The SRA" would be a runner, personally...

The rule of the road afloat is keep right, hence SeaLink's arrows. I never saw reversal (to left forward) on BR▸ (British Rail(ways)) ships, but some may know better.

"If both lights you see ahead, starboard wheel and show your red"

I think that Bring Back BR is a campaign worthy of support, although I don't approve of putting stickers on railway property, however good the message. A new BR wouldn't mean an end to FGW▸ (First Great Western), just a single mind directing the industry as a single travel mode competing with other modes.
