Looking very smart in power car blue. Is that a web address on the inner end??

Pity the entire fleet wasn't treated in the same way.

think you will find this is the first one to be done and the rest will follow.in my opinion it looks nicer than the local lines livery

How come its been repainted already? I thought they only refurbished these sets not so long ago? Is the whole fleet going to be painted?

The 150/2 fleet was recently refurbished. 150 127 was one of two 150/1 units that Andrew Haines managed to procure for FGW (First Great Western) during his tenure - it came from London Overground and was fitted with 2+3 seating and looking a bit tired internally, plus painted in the old Silverlink livery. It was recently internally tarted up and has now been repainted.

Several more 150/1 units are heading FGW's way from LOROL (London Overground Railway Operations Ltd), so presumably they will receive the same treatment. Although why it wasn't repainted into the "standard" local lines livery I'm not entirely sure - maybe FGW are waiting until all the units have been transferred so that they can "wrap" them in the vinyls all at the same time.

not sure the thinking on it maybe with all the other sets having vinyl peel or corrosion under vinyl they have decided good old paint is the best cover after all?

any ways all the 150/1's are getting same treatment at pullmans 121 next in line, the recenty aquired dogs from LO along with the LM (London Midland - recent franchise) aquired sets will get the same internal refresh 121&127 got.there are still jobs left on them like remote supply and intermediate door controls quite when they get finished i dont know.

apparently the local lines livery is now obsolete so any 150/2 or any other unit repaints will now be into power car blue.

I saw a 180 painted in the new livery this morning at Old Oak Common.  Is it back down south making a guest appearance somewhere?!?  Cheesy
