Is Newport (Gwent) due a platform 0?  i thought I read it somewhere.

3. Corrour is pretty small, and probably the most remote with direct services to London. (I'm guessing that the may call is a hint to be looking for a request stop).

Snowdon at 3560 although the station is little below so Ptarmigen may be first.

Snowdon station is given as 3,494ft;
Rannoch as 1,350 ft.

Next would be Dent, at 1,150 ft?

Yes ... I think they were quite easy ones ... and all the answers are correct (or at least the answers I expected).   I wasn't aware of the other "Platform 0"s outside our area, I'll admit ... and I should have defined "smallest" better.  I suspect that Corrour station is also higher that Dalwhinnie and Dent (and it was the one I was thinking of for "smallest"; certainly most remote and the hint was indeed towards a request stop - but the other suggestions are good).

I would suggest Roy Bridge is smaller than Corrour as it is a single platform whereas Corrour is a loop, although both are RETB^▸ (Radio Electronic Token Block - a modern development of electronic token block signalling in which the token takes the form of an encoded data message transmitted to a receiver on the train. The system ensures that only one train is in possession of any single radio token at one time.) token change points.

 It also seems to be served by the sleeper as per Nationalrail Enquiries.
