The signal in number 2 is not a railway signal but a signal to boats. It is connected to the swing bridge in bristol harbour.

...and picture 3 I'm guessing is a bridge that's 126 miles and 34 chains from somewhere. Which, assuming that's distance from Paddington, would place it in Bristol city centre somewhere or other. I vaguely remember seeing a similar mileage painted on one of the bridges over the Portbury line around Ashton Gate/Bower Ashton (which would fit with the vicinity of the Bristol Harbour railway, I suppose), although I think that was a metal bridge rather than having a parapet made out of breeze blocks.
