The 67's for the shuttles have arrived in Cornwall so will probably be working as planned!
What about coaching stock? Is that here yet?

Pics caught today (not mine)

alegidly thats one of the DVT (Driving Van Trailer (carriage) or Deep Vein Thrombosis, depending on context)'s thats going to be used down there...

(say the bristol rail forums)

pics were from yesterday actually, not today. hurrah for typos!

which would explain them being miles away

1 black (royal) EWS (English Welsh & Scottish Railway Ltd, now known as DB Schenker Rail (UK (United Kingdom))) 67 and one normal 67

6 Mk2fs
2 Guard/brake coaches.

To be totally ned-like is Royal Train liveried 67006 and EWS liveried 67012, to work top and tail with the eight mark twos that are all in Virgin livery. The rake has a half brake each end and features totally standard class seating... (which compared to HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) refreshs will seem far superior to the passengers anyway).
As far as i know the seating is all around tables which will please people.

Long journey to justify GM haulage!

Got on the 2x67 and 6 Ex-Virgin MK2's rake today. Not bad. 1 brake coach and 5 standard class, good interior condition, all table seating.
Other units working were a 150(Local Lines Livery) on Falmouth branch, 153+150combo(150 was local lines) and a 5-car super voyager. Anybody now what else was being used?

There actually pretty good (capacity and luggage wise) between St.Austell and Penzance and good for connecting with London trains as today is the first day of half term(up country-not Cornwall). And there very popular with locals. There always asking: How long before the old trains have gone? and they really think were getting a new fleet of trains and it will seem like that with HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) Refresh and DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) Refresh.

Bit of a cock up today. Unit on mainline Cancelled all day, no guard. Other trains were running later to compensate for the gap keeping the customers angry. Meant first train into Penzance arrived at 11.30.
