UPDATE: FGW have also posted the timetable booklet online, just like old times. Shame they no longer do this when their are significant changes to train times at weekends because of engineering work

Makes sense now as that was a unit they used last time the mainline was closed from Plymouth upwards.

Was looking this morning like the loco hauls were cancelled due to ongoing paperwork problems. The set was to be subbed by a class 150 unit, however the only way to source this would be to cancel the St.Ives branch through the whole period. This afternoon attempts were being made to resolve the issue, we await further news!!

whilst they're at it they can nick the Looe unit to go to Bristol again! about right, west of the Tamar nobody travels!!!! according to DFT^▸ (Department for Transport) false figures.

The view on this from Saltash Rail Users Group :

The mainline will be closed between Liskeard and St Austell from Saturday 20th October until midnight on the 24th October. Saltash will get a near normal timetable of stops but with some additional services on Saturday and some on Monday through until Wednesday.

The amended timetable is attached for you to print off. Full amended timetables including bus alternatives from Liskeard are listed at Saltash station in the information boards with some printed leaflets left on both platforms for you to take away.

To be totally ned-like is Royal Train liveried 67006 and EWS liveried 67012, to work top and tail with the eight mark twos that are all in Virgin livery. The rake has a half brake each end and features totally standard class seating... (which compared to HST^▸ (High Speed Train) refreshs will seem far superior to the passengers anyway).
