Changes in rubbish and rubbish clearance?

I noticed last night that the clear plastic bin liner that hangs by the fence at my home station as our rubbish bin was nearly full last night - I've never seen it get to anything like that stage before.  And I wonder if this is because ...
a) There's more traffic
b) In the hot weather, more rubbish is being generated per person
c) Someone cleaned out their car at the station while waiting for a passenger to arrive by train
d) Station cleaning and rubbish clearance isn't happening as often as it use to
e) Some other reason

The clear bag of rubbish, exhibited for all to see, in unsightly ... but I understand it has to be this way for security reasons (I noted they don't have the same problem in Germany, where the rubbish isn't more prominent than some of the information boards!), and it's good to see that people are using it and it's not actually overflowing - just 80% full.

The station cleaning's not a problem at the moment - but I noticed this difference and wondered if it's unique to our neck of the woods, or if others have noticed any changes?

i think it is a problem that happens from time to time at the smaller stations on network,most likely cause is staff sickness i believe FGW^▸ (First Great Western) use a couple of men in a van to go around these stations to carry out cleaning and small repairs along with changing posters.

First time ever saw 2! cleaners doing the Windsor Branch train, in Platform 1 Slough at 16:15 today. They got a large bag full off 165 136.

As an aside the unit was running with one set of doors taped over.
