Was on the 1511 from HFD^» (Hereford - next trains) today - when I discovered what was labelled G was actually a reversed H.  According to the TM^▸ (Train Manager) - literally

Apparently no one had been briefed, if there had been a disabled FC^▸ (First Class, or Fat Controller, depending on context) pax they would have been screwed and it was just damn confusing.

Maybe - but I'm used to odd formed trains, reversed trains, missing carriages - etc etc - was odd enough for me to comment that "what the hell"

Thing is it did not confuse just me............also confused some other regulars who noticed G wasnt as it was supposed to be!

Surely two H's was better than mislabelling a H since G does have the disabled space

Well if you have two H all the people who have reservations in G will get confused.  And there are a lot more of them than people who need to use the wheelchair space.  Also CIS^▸ (Customer Information System) should show no wheelchair space in first.  Wheelchairs need to be put on by station staff who should know already.

 I think you have to refer to the old adage'  'Some people leave their brains behind them when they arrive on Railway Stations'.

 I was at Totnes last Friday, when their was an enviromental health scare.
 Some work had been going on at the old Dairy on the up-side, when asbestos was discovered.
 Emergency services closed the station approach whilst taking air quality samples etc.
 Although you felt it was a serious incident as the fire brigade were hosing down, I presume to settle the dust.
 So to get out of the station the exit was closed on the up-side, obviously, so it was over the footbridge to the down side and
exit the station.
 I did not have a problem with this, thankfully the trains were still running.
 Unfortunately one Totnesian took great exception, gave anyone within earshot hell, was confused at having to cross the
 bridge and felt it was a violation of human rights.
