Thanks for the information - very useful.

Means that a single journey on the 8/9 from Bristol Temple Meads to the "Clifton/Redland Fare Zone" will now cost ^1.70 as oppose to ^1.50 (or 75p with railcard) on the train.  I know which one I'll be choosing Cheesy

No mention of the price for PlusBus tickets changing and also no mention of the prices for the FirstTen Student ticket (which I use often).

Whilst we're on the subject, does anyone know the exact conditions of "Bristol Buslink"?  NFM05 quotes ^1.25 as a single ticket from Bristol Temple Meads to Bristol Buslink (L125).  I asked at the bus station a few months ago and she thought it was a single journey on the 8/9, as far as College Green.  She wasn't very sure and offered to find out, but I was in a rush so couldn't wait.  Apparently the details are in the Rail Connections Manual, if anyone has a copy of this?

Here's a sobering thought - at GBP1130 (or less than GBP1000 if you buy it at he beginning of the year) the Oxford Bus Company season ticket allowing unlimited travel between Oxford and London on their frequent Oxford Espress coach service costs almost exactly the same as an annual pass on Bristol local buses, and comes with unlimited free local travel on OBC services around town as well!
