Really trying to figure out where 27 is..really thought it would be Oxford Sad

It is, Ollie.  You weren't sure about it earlier, so I left it for others to chip in.  I'm conscious that our North Cotswolds and Welsh Marches members don't have much in their area in this series, so was hoping that one or two of them might contribute.

Chris - all of yours are correct, and I have updated the "answer sheet" to show them.   It's now standing at 34 guessed, and 26 to go. Some are very easy if you note that pictures come in batches ... others are going to be rather tricky, and there are a couple that I know I will need to explain.

All pictures, and up to date (at present) list of places / scenes identified to far at:

Yesterday, I visited three locations from where my picture collection was either light or out of date, and I've added 10 images onto the end of the sequence.  I wasn't far from home (so sorry - Cookham, Cornwall, Colwall - nothing that you'll identify in your areas!), but one of the locations may give pause for thought  Wink

I'd hazard a guess that 11 is Chippenham, 13 Trowbridge and 24 Swindon.

28 might be Didcot, but I confess that's a long shot.

55 and 60 are both Westbury. I think 67 might be too.

59 is Dilton Marsh

68 and 69 are Devizes

Oh and 46 is Corsham

Good call on all of those, Phil ... yes, 28 is indeed Didcot.  I had thought that the Devizes ones and Corsham might "stick" ... but they didn't.   There are still some very interesting ones (and some I think are easy!) there.

09 - Frome?
49 - Brockenhurst (unless Taunton's acquired a third rail and blue/grey 3CIG...)
58 - Soton Central?

9 Looks like the Bristol bound platform at Chippenham, presumably all of the punters awaiting a Transwilts service  Wink

It is indeed the Bristol-bound platform at Chippenham.  Some of the punters had just come up from the TransWilts direction and were catching a train to Bristol and beyond.   Not sure how many, but certainly car park surveys at Chippenham station show this sort of use of "Chippenham Parkway" to be quite common!

I think 30, 32 and 33 are all variations on the theme of 31 - crowding on Portsmouth / Southampton services?

I hadn't even noticed 00 didn't have a caption! It's definitely Chippenham.

61, 62, 63, 64 and 65 all look like Westbury to me.

I am highly tempted to say that 63 is also Frome - But I can't quite see the 4 Aspect signal in the picture Huh

62 I would agree with Phil is Westbury... The classic park a 150 out of the way manouver Grin

40 I would say is most definately Melksham.

40 isn't Melksham, trout mate - Melksham's single track at the moment. It's possibly Trowbridge but I'm only guessing, I admit.
