Today I had to look up time between Whitchurch (Hampshire) to Whitchurch (Cardiff) taking me 3hrs 23mins tomorrow morning. I wondered is this the longest journey that one can do between two places of the same name solely by rail. I thought of Newport (Essex) to Newport (Wales).
So the challenge the longest journey in the UK▸ by rail between two places in the UK
