Well actually my sainsbury bag for life with some toiletries in it
Got on the train at 1708 in Newport and got into G - train was buffet less as I may have alluded to elsewhere
After 10 minutes I realised I was in a meat locker so reluctantly moved to H
When I got off at Reading - realised I didnt have my carrier bag so went to G - looks like had been picked up for security reasons - however as there was no buffet I could not locate the TM‡ before the train was despatched and my toiletries zoomed on to paddington
There were only dregs left in them so I'm not overly bothered bu I wonder how much *I* would have to go out of mty way to retrieve them.

Rather inflammatory thread title.
Could your luggage carrier bag not have been handed in or nicked by one of your fellow meat locker occupants?
Firstly it was meant tongue in cheek Secondly - there were about 1/2 applications left in each container hence my tongue in cheek attitude - I suspect they could have but I doubt anyone just goes around randomly liftling carrier bags I more suspect the TM‡/CH saw the carrier abandoned in G and took it away for safe keeping! |

Got our interest, though  As a customer service provider / manager (though not on the rails), we've had some fascinating discussions about how to tell what is rubbish that people get upset if you DON'T clear, and something that's still in use if you do. I agree with Grahame and also when I saw the title and then noticed immediately that it was in the Lighter side I realised that it was going to be tongue in cheek.. i know you meant it tongue in cheek but anyone could have picked it up or chucked it in bin,to be fair it is up to the passenger to look after belongings especially in these time of high security. |
