I have to report that a 142 has been to penzance today. I'm not sure what it worked down but I know it just left Truro at 19.45 going to Exeter (142030 for those who wish to know)

I do have to own up to actually being old enough to remember them first time 'round when they were chocolate and cream in colour, called skippers and promptly banned from half the branch lines in Cornwall, but I'm just going to go and sit in a corner and gurgle gently to myself, mama mama Tongue

I saw it depart EXD» (Exeter St Davids - next trains) at 1250... it was smoking quite a lot so I'm surprised it made it all the way to Penzance!
