Maybe to provide a later service from S Wales to Parkway than the last London train?

Anyway I'm more interested in why they want ^40 to travel about a mile?

A Freedom of Severn & Solent (3 in 7)?

There aren't actually any fares available for Patchway to Parkway (I thought there was always a fare available between any two stations?)
