Have any FGW▸ stations been decorated for Christmas yet?
The only station I've seen so far with a tree in it is Liverpool Street (not an FGW station, I know!) - they've got a tree with just lights on, no decorations, which went up on 24th November - and they don't seem to be sponsored by Ebay this year!
Not seen one in Paddington so far, but maybe in the next few days - unless they decided not to have one this year (credit crunch & all!) which would be sad...

There is the usual huge tree that is lit up with a star on top outside the Great Western pub by EXD» .

Christmas trees are an elfin safety issue: it's official. From the BBC» : Council axes real Christmas tree A council has axed its traditional town centre fir Christmas tree and put up a ^14,000 fake one instead.
Borough of Poole said that the tree was safer, sturdier and cheaper in the long run, and that a Norwegian fir tree could topple over in strong winds.

Hmm. Interestingly, while FGW▸ have now managed to find the Christmas decorations for their website, they haven't bothered to update their 'news' page since 23 July 2009 ...

Christmas tree is up in Paddington as of this morning... seems to be the same style as the one in Liverpool Street (ie no decorations, just lights), so it would seem that is the National Rail style this year.
