Why not just simplify it to read, 'For your safety please do not use your mobile phone on the stairs'?

It's a valid message, too, bearing mind the poor chap at Ealing who was apparently using his mobile, walked too near the edge of the platform and was sucked under a train.  Shocked

Apart from the mention of class 180 trains, I'm guessing it's the slightly alarming statement that the train will be on the platform for two minutes.

If they can get it off the platform and back off the rails in that short a space of time I'm impressed. Shades of the old joke "The next train to arrive on platform 8 will be the 1135 service to Birmingham New Street; passengers on platforms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 please stand clear as this train will be coming in sideways".

Judging by the spread of the apparant splatter... Shocked I would estimate the bird in question to be of the large variety travelling towards the Bear Flat area of Bath... Possibly just alighted the 11:25 Service... Possibly a faredodging bird as he clearly didn't go through the ticket barriers in the Station Entrance... Grin

So this leads me to believe, It was none other than Bob the Seagull... Grin
