Probably because at ^10.40 its quite a cheap First Class ticket, and a season ticket would probably not be much cheaper than buying 7 @ ^72.80, considering the price in standard. 7DS being ^29.30

A 1st class 7 day season ticket should be 1.8 times the std 7 day ticket, I believe

If TOCs▸ continue to push up the cost of long distance Anytime Returns at the current rate some will become more expensive than a season ticket. Will some long distance seasons be abolished as a result of this?

Are season tickets protected fares or is that only around London.
