Rail passengers faced delays in Oxfordshire this afternoon due to a signalling problem between Oxford and Kingham.
Delays of up to 50 minutes on First Great Western services between London Paddington and Great Malvern were reported.
Tickets are being accepted on London Midland services between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford.
National Rail estimate services are likely to be disrupted until at least 3pm.
Some trains are also being terminated earlier than scheduled.
