Answer ... a single journey this afternoon / evening to Farnborough Main.

Is it a similar situation for Paignton to Bristol to, splitting journey at Exeter?
As i am travelling to Paignton Tuesday, and have yet to buy my ticket

Plymouth - Exeter & Exeter - Bristol returns ^30.00
Plymouth - Taunton & Taunton - Bristol off peak day returns: ^26 Is it a similar situation for Paignton to Bristol to, splitting journey at Exeter?
As i am travelling to Paignton Tuesday, and have yet to buy my ticket
If you are only going for the day and you don't want to book in advance it's cheaper to split at Taunton. |

As I said above, it's actually cheaper to split at Taunton: PLY» - TAU» off peak day return: ^15.60. TAU - BRI» off peak day return: ^10.40. Total of ^26.

My bad Zo^, I've removed my rather convoluted post re PLY-BRI double splitting. I thought I was quite well versed in the arcane art of fare splitting. Turns out that I'm still trumped occasionally.  Thanks for pointing out the ^26. I've been double splitting for years on that particular journey. |

When i go to cardiff, i always split it Didcot Parkway to Bath Spa, Bath Spa to Cardiff Central. It works out a hell of a lot cheaper. It's madness really.
