Hello ...



I took my first train trip today.   Less that half an hour, and great fun.

I couldn't help noticing that there seems to be a river, with a weir, near every station.  Is this a requirement these days?   Here's the first one ...



and here is the one that's near to the station at the end of the journey ...



When we came back, we went for a walk near another station too and of course there was a weir there:



Can anyone name the three stations we visited?

I'm fairly sure the first one is Avoncliff - the ruined, but now apparently being restored, mill opposite the gardens of the Cross Guns ph, under the aquaduct?

You're absolutely correct, Chris ...

I actually just came on to post further clues at the stations, as no-one had even tried.

The 3rd one is Bradford On Avon.  I believe the photo was taken on the Level Crossing.   Tongue Cheesy

Beat me to it with Keynsham! You chose a couple of stations next to some very respectable pubs, with the Cross Guns at Avoncliff and the Lock Keeper/Brass Mill at Keynsham. Was that an accident  Wink?
