From my snail mail this morning ...

"You are due to travel on a rail excursion in the very near future and we are therefor notifying you that for reasons beyond our control we have had to cease trading and are regrettably in the process of appointing a liquidator ...."

http://www.past-timerail.co.uk - however - is still up and running.

Their excursions include(d) "The Golden Hind", Basingstoke to Plymouth via Bristol on 11th July ...

I'm booked on the Torbay Express. Heard nothing yet. Glad I paid by credit card. They only took the second instalment last week.

Doing a bit of research, all the Torbay Express trips appear to have been transferred to Pathfinder Tours. Hope the bookings have been too.

The Torbay Express will indeed carry on running under Pathfinder Tours. Bookings by the looks of things were going very well for it as well.
