Ok totally trivial but I finally got the insurance company to replace my iphone
There is an app called stations - which finds your nearest station. Of course I had to download it as its free
Its icon, is......... a refurbed FGW▸ train/power car although which station it is at I have no idea!
May I should make this a quiz - if anyone has itunes, go into apps, look for station and see if they can identify it!

Well, I'd say, good for swlines: we wished him 'all the best' for his future projects - and that's clearly what he's doing. Well done, Tom!

Was shown something similar to an iphone (lots of icons on the screen) which allegdley connected to the National Rail Enquires journey planner.
Came up with trains on a Sunday morning from Taplow!

It's because Nat R charge ^5 for their app, and they want to make as much profit as poss.
Having free apps will undermine their income.
So they'll have a monopoly - and will be charging a criminal price.

the trains app still works its actuallt better than the network rail one, you can look at more than one station by simply flicking across unlike the nr one where you have to go in program station go out change
