What I find disappointing is that such articles still include the standard six paragraphs, wittering on about historic concerns over 'under-fire train company First Great Western', quoting Ruth Kelly and Tom Harris - as if they have any relevance today.

Give FGW^▸ a break, for goodness' sake, when they're actually trying to improve things! Angry

Maybe so, but let's not forget it was FGW^▸ that got itself into a mess over catering in the first place - just how much did all the trolleys and the work on the toilets in coach A - now being reversed - cost?

Add that cost to this ^8m and you could probably have updated many of the existing buffet cars, avoiding all this carry-on.
