William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

Re. 7, I know Westbury has those same plastic flowers, but it doesn't have a Pumpkin. So then I thought Salisbury, but that's built of red brick and the wall looks like sandstone. Exeter St David's perhaps?

Also the flowers a real, They used to be hung quite low, low enough that if you walked under one you hit your head. Certainly not recommended if they've just been watered! Roll Eyes

Personally, I must confess to needing a clue: I went through a list of those 'smaller' stations which got a new HST▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) service in the December 2007 timetable changes, but I couldn't identify your photo with any of those stations that I'm actually familiar with.  (It isn't Nailsea, certainly!)

However, I bet devon_metro knows!   Wink Roll Eyes Grin

Looks vaguely like Radley but that's well outside the geographical area of the rest of the pics and I don't think the railings are quite right.
