Hmmm. Well, it's the door opening indicator light on the side of a silver/grey liveried carriage - so a Cross Country, I assume. And judging by the angle of the sunlight, the photo was probably taken at, say, about 11:00 on 18 February ? But if you're asking exactly 'where' it was taken, devon_metro, I haven't a bluddy clue!

William Huskisson MP▸ was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830. Many more have died in the same way since then. Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

Yes, I'm getting an increasingly uneasy feeling that I'm going to appear a complete chump over this one! It's the down platform at Nailsea, isn't it?

Devon_Metro has confirmed that the train in the photo is the FGW▸ Loco Hauled set, Which IIRC▸ operates between Taunton - Bristol Parkway and Taunton - Cardiff Central. Therefore the picture is highly likely to be one of the stations along the route. Unless the Loco Hauled set operated another route as cover stock which we don't know about... But that would mean the Devon_Metro is cheating...!

Well, to be fair, the mere suggestion of some sort of overbridge in the background is all I have to work on: Parson Street?
