Even prior to 6 a.m., there was a whole series of short workings this morning ... I make this 6 separate train sets.  The effect of December timetable and stock changes?

Exeter is short of 5 142s this week, and other unit availability isnt great either!

And Cornwall has been short of stock today - only one carriage on the Falmouth branch, supplemented by buses,  and 3 rather than 4 carriages running west from Plymouth at tea time.   This even with the Newquay branch closed for engineering this week

Assorted HST▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) faults in the Thames Valley today, with the early Moreton-London cancelled and another failed HST parked in the sidings at Oxford as the Turbo stand-in left on the 17.5a London to Worcester.

17.51 London - Worcester service was once again turbo'd, only 3 carriages, was it just 3 on the 8th will?

Falmouth shortformation was down to the Looe unit failing on the main line early in the morning, they split the 2 153's on the falmouth to send one to Looe.
