A Professor from Bristol University sets off today on an epic adventure travelling to Tibet by train. Tom Troscianko , who teaches psychology , will spend the next month covering the 9,300-miles from Bristol Temple Meads to Lhasa in Tibet (link below.)

Starting in England , Tom will travel through Belgium , Germany , Poland , Belarus , Russia , Mongolia , China , Tibet , Nepal and India.
