The summer may be a distant memory but the spirit of the Torbay Express lives on this coming December. The Yuletide Torbay Express is an ideal way to prepare for the Christmas season - join family and friends on board for a magical steam hauled journey into the past with the excitement of a pantomime at Kingswear, a magic show, mulled wine and mince pie.

Starting at Bristol (Temple Meads) just after breakfast-time and stopping to pick up passengers at Weston super Mare, Taunton and Exeter, ^The Torbay Express^ takes the spectacular coastal route to Paignton via Torquay and then onto the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway to Kingswear (for Dartmouth) for an afternoon on the South Devon Riviera.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
