Lots of service alterations being reported on the FGW (First Great Western) website, described as "due to an operating incident."

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

An update from the FGW (First Great Western) website on the 'obstruction on the line':

Quote
Line problem in the Severn Tunnel Junction area.
Train services between Bristol Parkway and Newport South Wales have been disrupted due to an obstruction on the line earlier in the Severn Tunnel Junction area.  Engineers have worked as fast as possible to restore services to normal.  Delays of up to 30 minutes may still occur.

Still not clear what the 'obstruction on the line' was, nor whether the 'operating incident' refers to the same thing?
