Santa Special ... provisional. Sunday, 30th November, 2008

From Melksham at 17:15 to Swindon, getting back into Melksham at 19:00. (these are the headline times for publicity - the train leaves a few minutes after 17:15 but we want to have everyone there in good time

Santa will be on the train when it arrives in Melksham, and will travel with us to Swindon and back.   He'll be giving out presents to all the children on board, and there will be mince pies and soft drinks for the children, and a glass of wine for the adults.

Fare - including mince pies / soft drinks / presents (wine is complimentary) will be 7 pounds per adult and 3 pounds per child.  Any (small) profit made will go to the Melksham Railway Development Group.

Booking will open on 18th October at the Melksham Tourist Information Centre, and at Well House Manor, Spa Road, Melksham.  Places are limited - first come, first served.

Melksham Station platform is going to be packed on Sunday afternoon ... if anyone else wants to join us, either email me by 09:00 tomorrow (Friday) morning via graham@wellho.net ; can't sell any more child tickets (as Santa already has his work cut out) but can take a handful more adults.   Or it's a service train - just come along anyway and buy a ticket on the train (but please pass on the mince pies and so forth if we're running out!)
