It strikes me as "preserved" because of all the track and stock ... but further suggestions might be quite wild guesses. You are - I think - saying "heritage but not West Somerset"?

Well, I'm not going to spoil anyone's fun - because I just don't know. Roll Eyes

However, I can tell you where it isn't (to save you all the same amount of time I have just spent, searching to no effect)!

It isn't Bishops Lydeard (but I see your line of thinking, grahame,: there are several features similar to there!); nor is it Cranmore (East Somerset); nor Buckfastleigh or Staverton (South Devon); nor Grosmont, Levisham or Goathland (North Yorkshire Moors).

So, I just don't know. It seems to be somewhere much smaller - in a cutting, or valley, surrounded by trees?

Without much in the way of clues from TerminalJunkie, I went as far as North Yorkshire - but it didn't do me any good!

im scared... its not south devon railway not the dartmoor railway its not that one at paignton to kingswear (sorry forget the name), where else is there esp with a 3 car dmu at the platform?
