5.  I was always rather doubtful about my own answer - hence my qualifying it with, "I think that's ... ".  Grin

Duirinish it is - I concede.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

And 3 is Conon Bridge; a station I’ve only visited once, but which is quite distinctive.

All now correctly identified

1. Inverness
2. Beauly
3. Conon Bridge
4. Plockton
5. Duirinish
6. Kyle of Lochalsh

Pictures in geographic order (east to west).   The order in which they were taken was Inverness - Duirinish - Plockton - Kyle of Lochalsh - Conon Bridge - Beauly - all done from 08:55 to 17:08.   I have various out-the-window pictures of other stations, but have left those to be another excuse to go back up to get a better idea.  Some of the pictures from in the train left a lot to be desired.
